The Rush for Senior Photos!!!The rush for Senior Photos is coming to a close, as the days get shorter, and the leaves are turning to majestic tones of yellow, gold, and red. The Deadline for Year Book photos is almost here. Photographing the Seniors in the various locations around Lewiston and Auburn, Maine was great fun. Some very good images were captured during this season. Several of the locations not only are good for Senior photographs, but would make a good background for Weddings and Family Portrait Sessions. They were 1) Simard-Payne Park in Lewiston, Maine {formerly Railroad Park}, 2) Bates college campus, also in Lewiston, with its many Architectural Structures and campus pond, and 3) The Gardens and Ground of Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine.
Another place, often overlooked, is Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary in Lewiston, Maine. Thorncrag offers beautiful trails through the woods, an open air fireplace on one of the trails, and views of Mount Washington, New Hampshire, on a clear day. Most of the trails are easy to moderate and give a feeling of being deep in the woods, right in the heart of Lewiston. Now is the time to be thinking of family photos for Christmas and Greeting Cards. The holidays will be here before you know it. The studio will be decorated for the holidays to give a festive feeling to photos the family will treasure for years.
