A New Website calls for a new BlogI have recently moved my Wedding and Portrait web site to Zenfolio. I thought this would be an appropriate opportunity to begin a blog that is attached to my main internet presence. The main focus will be on my Wedding, Portrait, and Fashion photography, with occasional forays into my Nature and Landscape work.
July 4th found me doing a small wedding at the Taste of Maine restaurant in Woolwich, Maine. Shannon Hilb and Jeremy Taylor were to be married at 11:00 a.m by their minister. They were hoping to have an outside wedding but the weather did not look like it was going to cooperate. As I drove, in the pouring down rain, to Woolwich, I uttered many praises to the Rain Gods. (Curses always have an adverse effect.) My pleas were heard, and the Rain Gods once again smiled on me. (The Good Reverend blamed it on a prayer to Jesus,) For whichever reason you choose to believe, the rain stopped as I approached Woolwich, and the Mother of The Bride was very relieved that the ceremony could proceed as planned. It began a little late, and a Sand Blending Ceremony was performed before the vows were completed. The Formal Photos were taken, and as the last shutter was pressed, it began sprinkling. As soon as the wedding party was moved inside for the reception, the skies opened up and the rain returned in earnest.
Remember to Smile, and Live Life to the Fullest!
