Elopement on Mount BattieOne of the joys of photographing small weddings and elopements, is meeting people that are truly in love and want to commit to each other. One such couple was Dr. Charles Sewall and Susan Cordero. They live in Pennsylvania and chose to get married in Maine, where Dr. Sewall spent some of his childhood with his Grandfather.
Mount Battie in Camden, Maine is a beautiful setting for a small wedding/elopement. The views of Camden Harbor are inspiring and the day could not have been better, with the exception of those pesky black flies. Lighting was a challenge as the wedding began at 6:00 pm, and the sun was casting long shadows. Connie Mills, of All In One Weddings, performed the marriage ceremony and a Sand Blending Ceremony was also included in the event.
